Our little genius!

It is official. Joshua is a genius. He is four months old and reading already!

Day at the Dallas Arboretum

Tuesday was such a beautiful day that I decide to load the kids in the van and drive to the Arboretum. It is only 20 minutes from our house, and thanks to Mom and Roy we have a season pass. The tulips are on their way out, but the pansies were beautiful. The kids enjoyed playing in the storybook houses. They have a little pirate ship to go along with Treasure Island, a little and big house for Alice in Wonderland, and even a house for One Fish, Two Fish. I also enjoyed sitting on the grass holding Josh and watching Eliza and Ben run down the hill. Of course we couldn't leave without getting soaking wet in the frog fountains. At least the water took off some of the sand that Eliza and Ben had acquired while digging for buried treasure!

One of my new year's goals was to create a family blog. I am impressed that it is only April and I have begun. We have so enjoyed keeping up with family and friends through their blog sites that we decided to join in the fun! We might not have anything spectacular to share, but we hope you enjoy us anyhow!
